The Department of Psychiatry in collaboration with Safe and Sound Schools has launched Prevent 2 Protect: The Adolescent Targeted Violence Prevention Project through an allocation from the Michigan Department of Education. Scheduled to be piloted in five regions throughout the state.
This is a five-year pilot program that will establish a research-to-practice hub to provide guidance, training, and consultation in the regions. It will also assign intensive support teams to provide case management and mentoring services to high-risk/high-need adolescents and their caregivers. Learn More
