Human Medicine Clerkship​

Medical students in the MSU College of Human Medicine take a four-week psychiatry clerkship at 7 clinical campuses throughout Michigan.  These campuses are located in Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Midland, Southeast Michigan, Traverse City, and the Upper Peninsula.  Contact information is listed below.

All clerkship materials can be found in your assigned course via D2L. If you have any questions about the requirements, please speak to your specific campus staff or the Department Clerkship Administrator.

PSC 641 is a requirement for medical students to complete in their third year of medical school. Its goal is to prepare medical students to recognize, diagnose, and care for patients with psychiatric disorders encountered in most medical practices.  Students will complete this core 4-week Clerkship at one of 8 MSU CHM campuses.  ​
